Low Radiation Body Scan
is designed for early detection and prevention of heart
disease, stroke and cancer, the three major killers. Other illness
detected are congenital abnormalities, osteoporosis, kidney stones, cysts in
liver, pancreas, ovaries, spinal problems and enlarged prostate. The scanning
procedure takes 30 minutes, and the patient must come in a fasting condition. This
test is recommended only for patients who are at high risk of heart disease,
stroke and cancer. Cancer if detected at an early stage can usually be
treated with good long term results.
